Wings of an angel, so beautiful, light,
Shedding their feathers after the big fight.

Wings of a devil, ugly to the eyes,
Stretching in triumph and taking their prize.

Hair of an angel, so pretty and clean,
Now mangled and chopped up all over the scene.

Hair of a devil, surrounding two horns,
Twisting about as it sneers in proud scorn.

Hands of an angel, elegant, soft,
Now cut up and scratched and still floating aloft.

Hands of a devil, claws tinted like mud,
Now covered in shiny red watery blood.

Life of an angel, so perfect in heaven,
One tiny misstep and it ended right then.

Life of a devil, so lacking in hell,
Spiced up with a good trophy story to tell.

Wings of an angel, now lifelessly slack,
Are torn off and worn on a proud devil's back.
